Lagos govt moves to boost electricity supply

(February 16, 2014) The pooling of resources and commitment by all stakeholders in the power value chain have been identified as a sustainable solution to the problem of electricity supply in the country. Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode made this submission in Alausa Ikeja, after receiving the report of the Lagos Embedded Power Technical Committee comprising stakeholders from the public and private sector.

FG moves to avert closure of airports for runway repairs

(February 1, 2017) The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has commenced the monitoring of runways in the airports across the country to ascertain their level of safety. The Director-General, NCAA, Captain Mukhar Usman who stated this at a news conference in Lagos, said the monitoring is to rectify any problem noticed and prevent the kind of issues currently trailing the proposed closure of the Abuja airport runway.

Lagos assembly partners RTEAN to boost tourism

FG begins payment of monthly stipends to poor people

(January 3, 2017) Another campaign promise of President Muhammadu Buhari is being made good as the federal government has commenced the payment of N5,000 monthly stipend to the poorest and the most vulnerable in the country through the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) of its Social Investment Programmes, SIP.
